Accepted Payment Methods

We accept multiple secure payment options to accommodate retail buyers, resellers, and wholesale customers:

  • Major credit and debit cards — Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover. Card payments are processed through PCI‑compliant gateways.
  • PayPal — available for eligible orders and account holders where offered at checkout.
  • Bank wire transfers — recommended for large pallet orders and wholesale purchases. Wire details are provided on request and on pro forma invoices.
  • ACH transfers — available for approved business accounts.
  • Company checks — accepted only by prior written agreement and after credit approval; checks must clear before shipment.
  • Third‑party financing / BNPL — Buy Now Pay Later options may be available through third‑party providers at checkout.

Currency and International Payments

All prices on our U.S. website are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD). International buyers are responsible for currency conversion fees charged by their bank or card issuer. For international wire transfers, buyers are responsible for any intermediary bank fees; please instruct your bank to include the full invoice amount net of fees so PrimeX receives the correct funds.

When Payment Is Due

Payment timing depends on the purchase type:

  • Buy Now / Fixed‑price orders: Payment is due at checkout. Orders will be processed after payment authorization and verification.
  • Auction purchases: Winning bidders must pay the deposit (if required) immediately and the remaining balance within the timeframe specified in the auction terms (typically 3–7 business days).
  • Wholesale / Account terms: Net terms (e.g., Net 15, Net 30) are available only to approved accounts after credit application and verification. Terms are granted at PrimeX’s discretion and may be revoked for late payment or credit issues.

Deposits, Holds, and Order Confirmation

For pallet lots and auction purchases, PrimeX may require a deposit to reserve inventory. Deposits are non‑refundable except where required by law or where PrimeX cancels the order. For high‑value or high‑risk orders, PrimeX may place a temporary authorization hold on the buyer’s card or require additional verification documentation (business license, resale certificate, photo ID, or proof of address) before releasing inventory.

Invoicing and Receipts

After payment, PrimeX issues an invoice and receipt via email to the address on file. Invoices include a breakdown of item cost, pallet count, freight estimate (if applicable), taxes, and any accessorial fees. Keep your invoice for pickup, freight scheduling, and accounting purposes.

Payment Verification and Fraud Prevention

To protect buyers and PrimeX, we employ industry‑standard fraud detection and verification measures. These may include:

  • Address Verification Service (AVS) and CVV checks for card payments.
  • Manual review of orders flagged by automated systems.
  • Requests for additional documentation for large or unusual orders.
  • Temporary holds on orders until verification is complete.

If we cannot verify payment or buyer identity, PrimeX reserves the right to cancel the order and refund any cleared funds. PrimeX is not liable for delays caused by verification procedures.

Wire Transfer Instructions and Timing

For wire transfers, contact sales@primexliquidation.com to request bank details and a pro forma invoice. Include your order number and buyer name in the wire reference. Orders paid by wire will be scheduled for fulfillment once funds are confirmed in our account. Wire transfers typically clear within 1–3 business days but may take longer for international transfers.

Shipping, Freight, and Payment Allocation

Freight charges for pallet shipments are calculated separately from product cost and may be invoiced or collected at checkout. For LTL shipments, accessorial charges (residential delivery, liftgate, limited access, re‑delivery) may be billed after delivery if incurred. Buyers are responsible for freight charges unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Late Payments, Collections, and Account Suspension

Accounts with overdue balances may incur late fees, interest, or collection actions. PrimeX reserves the right to suspend account privileges, cancel outstanding orders, and pursue collection for unpaid invoices. Wholesale terms may be revoked for repeated late payments.

Refunds, Returns, and Chargebacks

Refunds are governed by our Return & Refund Policy. If a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method. For card refunds, allow 7–14 business days for the credit to appear depending on the card issuer. For wire or check refunds, processing may take longer.

If you dispute a charge with your card issuer, notify PrimeX immediately at returns@primexliquidation.com so we can investigate. Unresolved chargebacks may result in account suspension and additional fees to cover chargeback costs.

Taxes, Duties, and Additional Fees

Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on the shipping destination and applicable state/local tax laws. Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or local fees for shipments outside the seller’s origin state. For international shipments, PrimeX will provide documentation but is not responsible for import taxes or customs clearance delays.

Wholesale Accounts, Resellers, and Resale Certificates

Resellers may provide a valid resale certificate to avoid sales tax where applicable. Wholesale accounts seeking net terms must complete a credit application and provide trade references and tax ID. PrimeX evaluates creditworthiness and may require personal or corporate guarantees for large credit lines.

Escrow, Third‑Party Payment Platforms, and Marketplace Sales

For certain auction or marketplace transactions, PrimeX may utilize third‑party escrow or payment platforms. Buyers must follow the payment instructions provided in the listing. PrimeX is not responsible for delays or fees imposed by third‑party platforms.

Payment Disputes and Resolution

If a payment dispute arises, contact PrimeX immediately at sales@primexliquidation.com or returns@primexliquidation.com. We will investigate and respond promptly. If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, parties may pursue mediation or arbitration as described in our Terms & Conditions.

Security and Privacy

PrimeX uses secure, PCI‑compliant payment processors and industry‑standard encryption to protect payment data. We do not store full card numbers on our servers. For details about how we handle personal data, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

Special Circumstances

PrimeX may require additional payment conditions for high‑risk orders, large volume purchases, or new accounts. Examples include higher deposits, wire‑only payment, or escrow arrangements. These measures protect both buyers and PrimeX and are applied at our discretion.

Changes to This Policy

PrimeX may update this Payment Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on our website with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
